Hungary’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade meets with Chairman Cao Kejian

On June 6, Mr. Szijjártó Péter, Hungary’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, meets with Chairman Cao Kejian and his delegates at Shanghai Hongqiao Airport Boyue Hotel , on which they had an exchange on Kaishan’s investment in Hungary geothermal projects. The minster introduced Hungary’s investment environment, expressed that the Hungary government values Chinese investors greatly, and thinks highly of and has high expectations on Kaishan’s investment in geothermal energy, a new and renewable energy.

Chairman Cao Kejian introduced Kaishan’s Turawell geothermal project phase one and Kaishan’s subsequent investment in that project: Turawell project uses Kaishan’s unique wellhead power plant technology, which is also an innovative model of comprehensive utilization of global geothermal energy. The geothermal resources at Turawell is being used not only for power generation, but is also used for agriculture and domestic heating. The Turawell plant is the first geothermal power plant in south and east Europe. Currently phase two development has already been commenced, and the geologists are conducting work at the initial stages.
